Research Focus

Research: Ziawasch Abedjan's research is focus on scalable methods for preparation and analysis of large heterogeneous data sources. In particular he is interested in novel algorithms and systems for automated data preparation, extraction, and cleaning as a prerequisite for data science workflows. 

Teaching: Ziawasch Abedjan teaches the foundational courses "Data Structures and Algorithms" and "Introduction to Databases". Additionally he offers seminars and lectures for advanced topics surrounding database systems and data science technologies.
